DYK for Nutellagate[edit]

Updated DYK query.svgOn 27 August 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Nutellagate, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that during the 2013 Nutellagate controversy, students at Columbia University were accused of costing the university $5,000 in dining hall Nutella per week? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Nutellagate. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Nutellagate), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Edit warring notice[edit]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. dudhhrContribs 13:29, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Edit warring on Teachers College, Columbia University. I see you reverted Anonymousread's clumsy and unsourced, but in good faith, edit with an edit summary of reverting vandalism. This was incorrect. You went on to revert war without explaining your reverts with so much as an edit summary. You should have stopped reverting and discussed with Anonymousread instead. Had you done so, the revert war would not have happened. Please wee WP:edit war and WP:BRD. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:10, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppetry[edit]

Cordial reminder that sockpuppetry violates community standards. Sockpuppetry includes "Creating new accounts to avoid detection or sanctions" as it appears you have done with the account User:Alphalfalfa ([1] vs [[2], [[3] vs [[4] and [5]). There exist a number of appropriate reasons to use alternative accounts; these are outlined at WP:VALIDALT. Please be aware that continued use of alternate accounts or IP addresses for illegitimate purposes may result in the opening of a sockpuppet investigation. Regards.
