Brownie. Thanks for clearing up the "deleting comments" fiasco, and resolving the images problem. Voraciousdolphin (talk) 21:12, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Barnstar of Good Humor. Thanks for posting this, which made me smile today. I agree: solving global problems is going to require at least three tables! WhatamIdoing (talk) 16:33, 13 July 2021 (UTC)DYK for The Sweet Flypaper of Life. On 18 June 2021, Did you know' was updated with a fact from the article The Sweet Flypaper of Life, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Sweet Flypaper of Life. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, The Sweet Flypaper of Life), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Thank you Firefangledfeathers. You have brought fairness to Wade Burleson on Wikapedia. I accept being "blocked" but you have successfully thwarted the vandalism of those who wish to tarnish the reputation of my friend and boss. Okiehistory (talk) 20:01, 24 July 2021 (UTC)The Special Barnstar. A gesture of appreciation when there is no other barnstar which would be appropriate seems quite appropriate for you and your work. Thank you!!! Beccaynr (talk) 02:23, 13 September 2021 (UTC)The Teamwork Barnstar. For assisting me in creating Splatoon 3 as an article. Panini helped get it started and you helped with copy editing. You were a huge help in making the article. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:39, 1 October 2021 (UTC)The Minor Barnstar. Thank you for paying attention to my grammar mistakes, your contributions count! CactiStaccingCrane (talk) 04:33, 4 October 2021 (UTC)The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar. Therefore, I award you a grain silo specially made for storing fresh, cold liquid methane (and LOX but ew) CactiStaccingCrane (talk) 06:14, 8 December 2021 (UTC)Cup of tea. While I edit, I tend to drink a lot of tea. Here is a cup of tea for being such an agreeable editor to work with, even when we may disagree... I can NOT say that for everyone. ♥Th78blue (talk)♥ 21:20, 11 April 2022 (UTC)The GA barnstar. Many thanks for reviewing my Good Article Nomination, it had been in the queue for quite some time. I appreciate you allowing me extra time by working around my school schedule with me (I promise I don't always take 11 days to get through a review, it's usually 2-3, 5 maximum ). When I originally nominated the article my schedule wasn't this intense and frankly this semester hadn't even been planned yet, so I didn't expect to have so little free time. That said, enjoy this barnstar as a thank you , much luck on future Wikipedia endeavors! TheDoctorWho (talk) 04:22, 15 June 2022 (UTC)DYK for Joseph Ranger (seaman). Top of my wiki-wishlist[edit]

I wish WP:ONUS, part of the verifiability policy, were more clear on how to handle removal of long-standing content. We sometimes have experienced, good-faith editors stuck in edit wars like this:

  • Amanda removes "Bananas are best", which has been in Opinions on bananas for years.
  • Bex restores the content, giving a valid reason for the revert and feeling confident that WP:BRD has their back
  • Amanda re-reverts with the edit summary "Per WP:ONUS: The onus to achieve consensus for inclusion is on those seeking to include disputed content."

Amanda and Bex both are sure they're in the right, and keep reverting. What can we do to stop this from happening?

Alt account[edit]

Since April 2022, I sometimes edit under my alt account, Special:Contributions/Waterwangledweathers, usually when I'm on less secure devices or networks. I've edited quite a bit using IPs between 2005 and 2021 and barely at all since then.
